Loftwings

Legend tells that the Loftwings are guardians tasked by the Goddess herself with protecting and aiding the humans. Every resident of Skyloft bonds with one of these giant birds at a young age and learns to ride them across the sky.

Islands in the sky

    Overview

    Home to the humans, who live peacefully alongside the Loftwings. The town of Skyloft rests on the larger, connected islands, with the Statue of the Goddess watching over it. Smaller isles in the sky hold their own discoveries.

    Our young hero and wielder of the Goddess Sword. Link bravely ventures down to the long-lost surface world to find his dear friend Zelda after she is knocked out of the sky.

    Zelda

    Best friends with Link since childhood. Zelda usually watches out for Link, but she’s gone missing after being caught in a sudden, mysterious windstorm.

    Groose

    Link’s rival. Although he has a bullying personality, his affection for Zelda is genuine and he can be a loyal friend when he wishes.

Sealed Grounds

Faron Woods

    The Great Tree stands in the center of this vast forest, and a variety of living things come here to ask for its blessing.

Eldin Volcano

    An area of active eruptions, with over half the land covered in lava. Many fire-tinged creatures reside here.

Lanayru Desert
